We Need You
American PACT is a volunteer-powered movement. Every person who joins our team brings us one step closer to establishing term limits for Congress and returning government to the people. We are currently building our national leadership team and looking for dedicated citizens to fill four critical roles.
All positions are fully remote and require between 5 and 15 hours per week depending on the role. All applicants must be U.S. citizens currently residing in the United States. While these are currently volunteer positions, American PACT is committed to exploring compensation and expense reimbursement for key team members as funding grows.

Assistant National Director
Serves as the right hand of the National Director, coordinating day-to-day operations, managing national priorities, and supporting regional leadership across the country.
What You'll Do:
- Assist the National Director in managing national-level operations and priorities
- Coordinate communication between national and regional leadership
- Track progress on key initiatives and follow up with regional directors
- Represent the National Director at meetings or public engagements when needed
- Help maintain organizational records, meeting notes, and action items
- Assist in drafting internal communications and announcements
- Serve as an active member of the national leadership committee
What We're Looking For:
- Must be a U.S. citizen currently residing in the United States
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in leadership, project management, or civic organizations
- Nonpartisan — able to work across political and community boundaries
- Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools is expected of all national volunteers

Responsible for the financial integrity of American PACT. Oversees accounts, ensures legal compliance, maintains financial records, and prepares reports for leadership and supporters.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee all financial accounts and transactions
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state financial regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare regular financial reports for national leadership and supporters
- Research and implement legally compliant methods for accepting donations
- Research and recommend a bank or financial institution for the organization's accounts
- Work with legal counsel to ensure proper filing and reporting requirements are met
- Serve as an active member of the national leadership committee
What We're Looking For:
- Must be a U.S. citizen currently residing in the United States
- Background in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
- Familiarity with nonprofit or political organization financial requirements (preferred)
- Unimpeachable integrity and commitment to full transparency
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools is expected of all national volunteers

Provides guidance on election law compliance, ballot access requirements in each state, organizational structure, and fundraising regulations. Licensed attorney required.
What You'll Do:
- Advise leadership on federal and state election law compliance
- Research and pursue ballot access qualification in each state
- Review and guide the legal structure of the organization
- Ensure all fundraising and contribution activities meet legal requirements
- Review public-facing documents and materials for legal accuracy
- Provide guidance on volunteer agreements, liability, and organizational risk
- Serve as an active member of the national leadership committee
What We're Looking For:
- Must be a U.S. citizen currently residing in the United States
- Licensed attorney with experience in election law, nonprofit law, or public interest law
- Commitment to nonpartisan civic reform
- Ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools is expected of all national volunteers

Crafts and delivers the American PACT message to the public. Manages social media platforms, drafts public statements, and grows the movement's online presence and supporter base.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute a national communications strategy
- Manage American PACT social media accounts (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Draft press releases, public statements, and newsletter content
- Coordinate messaging with regional communications representatives
- Monitor public conversation around PACT-related topics and respond appropriately
- Grow the movement's online presence and supporter base
- Serve as an active member of the national leadership committee
What We're Looking For:
- Must be a U.S. citizen currently residing in the United States
- Experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing
- Strong writing skills and ability to communicate clearly and compellingly
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital outreach tools
- Comfort with website updates and digital content tools
- Nonpartisan — able to represent the movement's inclusive, citizen-focused tone
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools is expected of all national volunteers

The organizational backbone of the national leadership team. Maintains official records, documents decisions, and keeps a growing citizen movement legally and operationally sound.
What You'll Do:
- Record and distribute minutes from national leadership meetings
- Maintain official organizational records and founding documents
- Track board decisions and follow-up action items
- Assist with filing and administrative correspondence as needed
- Serve as an active member of the national leadership committee
What We're Looking For:
- Must be a U.S. citizen currently residing in the United States
- Detail-oriented and dependable — someone who follows through
- Experience in administrative, organizational, or record-keeping roles
- Comfortable with email, Google Docs, or similar tools
- Nonpartisan — committed to the PACT mission above party loyalty
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools as part of regular work
